The holi­day season is a time of cele­bra­tion and big spen­ding. It’s up to you to make the most of it! Here are a few tips and sugges­tions to help you stand out and capture your custo­mers’ atten­tion during this period when everyone is inves­ting heavily in adver­ti­sing.

1 – The custo­mer is king

Let them choose their gifts! Take advan­tage of social media and poll options to give consu­mers the impres­sion of choice. Select attrac­tive discount options and promote them on social media. These polls will also help you plan the promo­tions that will deli­ver the best results!

2 – Target your ads diffe­rently

Two main stra­te­gies should be high­ligh­ted in your audiences:

  • Re-target, through remar­ke­ting, custo­mers who purcha­sed during the same period in previous years.
  • Target your compe­ti­tors to appear in front of custo­mers who buy simi­lar products. You’ll need to present an offer more attrac­tive than theirs to win over their clients!

3 – Get your social media ready for the Holi­days

Consult your desi­gner! Change your cover image, use Santa Claus and holi­day refe­rences, and talk about “special” discounts. Plan your commu­ni­ca­tions around Christ­mas and prepare for Black Friday seve­ral weeks in advance!

4 – Orga­nize a contest

Leve­rage orga­nic reach during the holi­days! Since the number of ads is very high during this season, your online adver­ti­sing may cost more. Take advan­tage of the natu­ral reach of posts through “Likes, ” “Comments, ” and “Shares” by encou­ra­ging your fans to inter­act!

5 – Special Christ­mas offers

It’s a clas­sic, but don’t skip it! This year, try to make your holi­day offers stand out. If your offer isn’t excep­tio­nal for the holi­day season, don’t expect a big diffe­rence compa­red to your usual sales.

6 – Deco­rate your store

Share your festive atmos­phere on social media. If you take the time to set up your store to make it invi­ting, don’t forget to invite people to come and disco­ver it 😉
