Ad.watch is a free online tool that lets you view all poli­ti­cal messages in 32 coun­tries, inclu­ding Canada. As you proba­bly know, you don’t see all the ads run by poli­ti­cal parties. Only a hand­ful of messages reach you based on your inter­ests, demo­gra­phic status, or other charac­te­ris­tics that parties consi­der favo­rable or not to their campaign. This plat­form gives you the oppor­tu­nity to access all of these messages.

Simple and user-friendly inter­face

Four views are avai­lable for Canada: inter­ac­tive map, ad time­line, content, and some details about ad settings. You can easily explore the aspects that inter­est you most and see messages not origi­nally inten­ded for you.

Did you know that Donald J. Trump is the poli­ti­cal figure who spent the most on Face­book adver­ti­sing from January 2017 to today? With a total of $32,681,816 USD and 267,368 ads, he ranks number one in the world by far!
